Waterkloof is a World Wildlife Federation Biodiversity and Wine Initiative Champion, and invites you for a full circuit walk of the wine estate to explore its natural beauty. A two-hour guided walk will lead you through one of the world’s foremost biodiversity hotspots. We are nestled between indigenous flora and fauna on the majestic slopes of the Schapenberg. The walk is followed by a Platter for two, paired with a Premium wine tasting, served in our glorious glass box.

If you’re eager share our slice of the Cape Floral Kingdom, join Waterkloof in partnership with Journey’s End Horseback Rides for an adventure in the Schapenberg. This picturesque trail ride invites enthusiasts to saddle up for a 60-minute ride through the area. Afterwards, relax at our ‘Cellar in the Sky’, and enjoy a Waterkloof Platter, paired with a Premium wine tasting served up with a breathtaking view of False Bay. Turn off the Sir Lowry’s Pass Village Road and enter the Waterkloof gates, and a lane of trees beckon towards the hills, where a total sensory experience awaits. The road meanders through an amphitheatre flanked by reclaimed fynbos and immaculately kept vineyards, before arriving at our state-of-the-art cellar.
